Question Stores & Markets. Where is Namibwear situated?
AnswerBeing a start-up company we mainly sell online or at local markets and events. Be sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook for market announcements and dates. Our products can also be found at our Popup Shop at Maerua Mall in Windhoek (currently CLOSED for JUNE/JULY 2020) and at selected retailers. Question Delivery & Collection. How will I receive purchased goods?
AnswerFor all products purchased on this site we provide customers with the option of a local pickup (Windhoek only) , delivery within Windhoek, and delivery to rest of Namibia to all major cities/towns in Namibia at an additional cost. Door to door overnight services are provided to all major cities/towns in Namibia and most of the other remote towns. Places like Katima Mulilo and Lüderitz are only serviced twice a week

  • For local pickup the purchased item can be collected during weekdays in Windhoek City Centre, Windhoek Eros or Suiderhof. For pickup on weekends, get in touch with us using the contact methods provided here. Further details regarding pickup times will be provided once payment has been confirmed.
  • Deliveries within Windhoek are charged at N$ 29.- per delivery (up to 6 items). Depending on time of purchase, delivery times can range from same day delivery to 2 days.
  • Deliveries to Rest of Namibia are charged at N$ 79.- per delivery (up to 6 items). Our couriers are able to deliver to all major cities and towns in Namibia. Delivery times may vary, as a standard all parcels are delivered between 1 – 4 days with the exception of deliveries to Katima Mulilo and Lüderitz where delivery times are between 3 to 6 days.

Please note that the total cost including shipment (if any applies) is calculated at the end of the check-out process depending on which shipment/delivery method is chosen. Goods are only dispatched once the full payment has been received. For deliveries outside of Namibia, please contact us here for further information.

Question Which payments are accepted?
AnswerWhen purchasing online, we accept payments made via EFT Bank Transfer, the PayToday App for smartphones and Credit Cards. In addition, we also accept cash on collection of goods purchased through local pickup (customer collections only, no deliveries).

• For EFT (Bank Transfer), simply fill in your billing and shipping information during check out and place the order once satisfied. You will then receive an e-mail with the necessary information to complete the payment. Goods to be delivered (via courier or post) must be paid in full before being dispatched.

• Using the PayToday App (found on Google Play or Apple App store), payments can be made conveniently from your phone. Simply download the app, register and search for NAMIBWEAR. Use your name and product name as reference, enter the amount and proceed with the payment.

• Credit Card payments using Visa or Mastercard cards can be made on this site using our third party payment provider DPO. Simply complete the checkout-process by filling in the necessary details such as billing and shipping information. For credit card payments you will be redirected to DPO secure payment gateway, specifically encrypted and protected for your safety and convenience. Goods are dispatched once payment has been received.

Cash upon collection is only applicable for customers who would like to pick up the purchased item personally. Customers opting for local pickup will receive the next available pickup point via e-mail (either in Windhoek Eros or Windhoek Central) once the order is confirmed. Payment in Cash does not apply for deliveries.

Question Will my t-shirt fit?
AnswerWhether you‘re ordering a clothing item or an accessory such as a phone cover, we do our best to provide accurate descriptions for each product and correct sizing information where possible. When it comes to Namibwear t-shirts, we currently offer various t-shirt styles and neck types, but all t-shirt cuts are either slim-fit or regular fit (also called relaxed fit).

Slim fit vs Regular fit

The slim-fit t-shirts do sit tighter on the body and have a smaller shape thus we do recommend ordering one size LARGER than the t-shirt size you would usually order in regular fit. Regular/relaxed fit t-shirts are comparable to t-shirts bought at established clothing retailers like Edgars or Woolworths. If you wear a size M usually, then a Namibwear T-shirt with regular/relaxed fit size M will fit you.

Question Does Namibwear deliver internationally?
AnswerFor customers residing outside of Namibia, we do offer courier services for purchased goods at additional rates. A limited range of Namibwear products are also available directly in South Africa, Germany and Brazil. We ship within these countries at reduced fixed rates. Please contact us at info@namibwear.com for further information.
Question How do I return my product?
AnswerDoes the product you have ordered not fit, is not what you‘ve ordered or has a manufacturing defect? Not a problem. Simply notify us within 7 days of receiving your purchased product and we will get back to you with return instructions. Please note that we can only accept returns if the product is in original condition (not worn or washed). No cash refunds will be made. Items that qualify for return may be exchanged for a product of different size (depending on availability) or we may provide a similar replacement. Depending on the nature of the return, additional delivery costs may or may not be covered by Namibwear, please see our Returns Policy for additional information.
Question Do you also have it in black?
AnswerAs a start up clothing company we can only produce a limited amount of designs and certain variations thereof. For every design there are minimum quantities we have to produce in order to make it feasible and provide products at reasonable prices. As a result, the products displayed on this website, our digital catalogue and our social media platforms represent all current available products and variations. While individual designs or alterations can not be manufactured, do let us know on our social media platforms if you have any wishes or would like to see variations in future. With enough requests, we might consider future releases based on your feedback.
Question How do I take care of my Namibwear product?
AnswerTo maintain the quality and maximise the lifespan of your purchased product we recommend to follow the accompanying care instructions carefully. Cotton clothing items for instance should be washed according to the instructions on the inside label, cold machine wash at 30º or hand washed for best results. Washing 100% cotton at high temperatures or using a tumble dryer may result in shrinkage. Please note that while wooden phone covers don’t need special care, the colour of the wood may get darker with time and usage. Daily handling absorbs oils from the skin which in turn darken the wood slightly over time.

AnswerWe at Namibwear pride ourselves by designing all our products ourselves. Being born and bred Namibian, we draw inspiration from our countries natural creations, our people and our rich and diverse cultures. While the themes of our designs are always Namibian, our style of design is influenced by minimalism and modern design. We are always open to collaboration with local artists and people who love Namibia as much as we do.
